It’s not often that I get the chance to sneak away for a couple of nights to explore a new city now that I’ve joined the Prestige crew, so of course when the offer presented itself, I jumped at the chance to go up to Newcastle!
Madonna famously once sang that ‘we live in a material world’ and although I realise I may be showing my age somewhat, I do think it’s high time that we updated her modernist mantra to read ‘we live in a technological world!’

This month we’re focusing on technology, which created a very good excuse for me to revisit the rather swish Rosebery Apartments, this time taking newbie Silvia (who joined us back in May) with me!

So 5 of our Prestige-ers got lured into doing something called a ‘Tough Mudder’.
And what exactly IS one of those ? Coz it sounded to me like the type of organisation/event that no-one other than some horrible cliquey gang of possessed gym bunnies or mental squaddies would ever want to belong to, let alone partake of. And actually, that proved to be about the size of it.
