SUIT UP FOR 48 BISHOPSGATE!

Just in time for Valentines Day, our boss Alex asked if some members of the team could do a little write up about our most lusted after locations...
Which proved to be rather a tricky one because what exactly are the ingredients which make for a perfect serviced apartment love match? Is it the location, the price, the interior design or that special little extra-something?
Being new to the industry I haven't had the time to explore all of the many options out there, but can fortunately still say that I've found a favourite!
Having a great adoration for the City of London, I don't really know why it is (uh, the many besuited men possibly? - Ed), but I just love the area, the buildings (St Paul's and The Gherkinespecially), and the buzz of the area and the atmosphere it creates...
Anyhow, when the question of picking favourites came up, the first properties to pop into my head were the luxurious apartments at 48 Bishopsgate. For me these have several of the characteristics mentioned above.
Being located on Bishopsgate they're only a 5 minute walk from Liverpool Street station, with its great connections to the rest of London as well as further afield. Walking in the opposite direction you'll soon (my guess is in 7-10 minutes), find yourself at Bank station, with this hub also offering great connections to other parts of London. The location also conveniently offers a Cafe Nerojust down the road (vital for feeding my coffee addiction), a Boots pharmacy around the corner, and both a Tesco Express and a Sainsbury's Local just minutes away.
With regard to the interior design, it is just exactly to my taste too. The brown hardwood floorsblend perfectly with the green, grey and purple details and when you step into the apartment you, (or at least I do), feel immediately at ease. With your own private entry from the elevator and well soundproofed windows you get a good feeling of privacy, despite the fact that you're living right in the hustle and bustle of town.
In terms of extras, now these are what really make the apartments feel special...for instance, if you were to have guests over, sofa beds are provided as standard in all of the apartments. And if we, (against all the odds), get to experience another long hot London summer there is air-conditioning to help you cool down. How unusual and totes amazeballs (awesome, over 50's) is that?
In the bathrooms you'll additionally be provided with double basins in case you perhaps want to synchronize brushing your teeth and washing your face with your partner? If staying in the executive one-bedroom apartment you can also enjoy both a shower (with or without partner) and a bath...tough choice!
If you're staying in the executive one-bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor, or the three-bedroom apartment on the 4th floor, you can also enjoy having a balcony to step out onto and grab a breath of that fresh London air.
And last but not least, if staying in the three-bedroom apartment, you'll enjoy having the apartment split over two floors, perfect for families staying together, as well as having a magnificent view of my favourite building in London, The Gherkin!
