So imagine our excitement when in November, we welcomed several “newbies” to the PAS family!

In popular London Town

…the Apple Group whose portfolio is predominantly located in East London, joined us. Make sure to check out their serviced apartments at ‘The Strand’ …with wall mounted TV’s in the bathroomno less! What more do you need?  Marietjie and Alex G went to view their apartments in Greenwich and here’s what the girls thought…

Next stop is uber-trendy Clerkenwell, home to some of London’s finest restaurants. It’ll come as no surprise therefore, that the area is extremely popular with our corporate bookers.

And so in Clerkenwell we have:

Horseshoe Court: A development that offers both a Waitrose and a Tesco – especially handy, if like me, you’re up for a late night wine run! The building has secure entry and offers a lift from the ground floor.  Oh, and its worth mentioning that the apartments have balconies and are within walking distance of the famous Smithfield market. Whilst there I did also notice that the apartments were very quiet - absolutely great for those “working from home” days! Weekly rates from £900.00 per week no VAT.

Lambs Passage: These apartments are within walking distance of the Barbican Theatre and offer a concierge too, making this another corporate’s favourite. I really liked the style and feel of these apartments. If you like to think of yourself as being part of the uber-trendy set then you’ll definitely be in your element with the numerous swish and stylish restaurants & bars available. Ooh, and you’ll be sleeping very comfortably indeed on their luxury Egyptian Cotton bedding!Weekly rates from £900.00 per week no VAT.

The Roseberry: Peeked at their photos online before viewing and well, let’s just say: I was not disappointed! As you walk in you’re greeted by the helpful concierge and immediately notice that this newly refurbished building offers quirky art and sculptures throughout. Wonderul – I love Modern Art! In addition, all of the apartments have coffee machines (Yup, that sold me! I could have moved in right there and then!). I was really impressed by the natural light and big windows that the apartments offered too. And if you’re a techie geek like me, then you’re gonna love this: As you enter the apartment there’s a central panel that controls everything – Lighting, heating…you name it! You can even look up local restaurants in the area or consult the washing machine manual on it. Awesome! Loved it! Weekly rates from £847.00 per week plus VAT.

By the way, these are all walkable from Farringdon station, which provides both mainline rail and tube services – I know this now as I went to view them!

All three listings offer free WiFi and aircon too (mega-bonus!)

A BRAND new location for us is Hemel Hempstead where we welcome Sheppards Yard Apartments: These serviced apartments are just a very short walk away from the many shops and restaurants of the Old High Street. And with the added incentive of having the train station a 5 minute drive away, what’s not to like! Direct trains into London take just 18 minutes which makes Hemel ideal for commuting into London. Its an affordable option too with Weekly rates from £700.00 per week plus VAT.

Outta Town:

Guards View Apartments are located in quaint and scenic Windsor. It's only so often that one gets to see a historic castle right outside of one's doorstep! And that's just what you'll get with these lovely serviced apartments in Windsor High Street. It’s a truly great location and you’re within walking distance of both the shops and train station. Weekly rates from £665.00 per week plus VAT.

Mosaic Apartments in St. Albans offers recently re-decorated serviced apartments an easy walk away from many restaurants and bars. You also benefit from free parking and outside space, and if you have a small dog or cat they’re welcome to come and stay too.  Oh, and get this: Its only 18 minutes by train into London St Pancras! Weekly rates from £665.00 per week plus VAT.

And last but by no means least…

Wilmington Close in Watford. This very popular development is a most welcome addition! The property offers daytime reception, free parking and a secure entry system. You're within easy access of the M1 and M25 motorways and trains to Euston London should only take you 13 minutes. This really is a great alternative for short term accommodation if you’d rather not stay in a hotel. Weekly rates from £840.00 per week plus VAT.
