Finally, it's arrived! The festive season is upon us and there's plenty to celebrate! We've worked hard all year and now its time to eat, drink and be merry...so let's get this party started!
What better way to celebrate our favourite time of the year than by taking you on a tour of our top 5 Christmas Markets?
So hoho ho, and off we go!
Cardiff Christmas Market is set in the in the heart of the pedestrian area of Cardiff City Centre and the traditional chalets are beautifully decked in colourful festive lights against the backdrop of St John’s Church and surrounding areas. There's a focus on Welsh goods and crafts as you'd expect but the market also offers a diverse range of high quality, original products and gifts from the festive chalets. Not to mention an irresistible selection of seasonal food and drink on offer where you can enjoy a glass of mulled wine to keep you warm whilst browsing.
So where to stay? Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market is a huge favourite with both residents and visitors from all over the UK and Europe. It's now the largest outdoor Christmas Market in the country and the centrepiece of the Christmas events calendar and is open until the 22nd December. Hosted in Victoria Square, this fantastic location provides a great back-drop and is handily only a few minutes walk from Birmingham New Street Station. Charming wooden cabins light up the streets with a festive glow, and there's a carousel to keep our younger visitors entertained as the sweet scent of mulled wine & mince pies fills the air!

Christkindelmarkt, Leeds is one of the most established German Christmas Markets in the UK. Located on Millennium Square in the heart of Leeds and running until the18th of December, this market is a must visit attraction for all the family.
