Work to restore the historic Corporation Building, located in the centre of the happiest city in England, finished in 2008! 

The fully equipped kitchens include a microwave, kettle, toaster, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, pots and pans, utensils, tableware, dining table and chairs, cutlery, bowls, plates, glasses and cups, and a washer/dryer!

Utensils include cooking knives, fish slices, wooden spoons, scissors, etc. And an iron and ironing board is also included of course. A sofa, coffee table and flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player are all included. Each bedroom can be set up with either two single beds or one king bed, and some bedrooms can also accommodate a fold-up bed or a sofa bed for an additional charge.

Fargate, the major shopping area, is just 8 minutes walk away and has many of the major high street shops. The main Sheffield bus interchange on Arundel Gate is 9 minutes away, and the highly convenient Sheffield Supertram stops just 3 minutes away (it travels to Meadowhall shopping centre, the biggest in Yorkshire, Crystal Peaks shopping centre, or the pretty suburb of Hillsborough).

About 15 minutes stroll through the city centre will bring you to the Devonshire Quarter, home to many independent shops, restaurants, pubs and bars and the clubs near Division Street and West Street should make for an enjoyable evening out.

For sightseers, nearby Sheffield city centre landmarks include the theatre corner, the Sheffield Cathedral, the art deco library building, various art galleries, and the impressive indoor greenhouse called the Winter Garden.

Booking Terms

Check In

Check-in is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Please contact us prior to arrival to confirm key collection details as the property does not offer a 24/7 reception desk or doorman. Early check-in may be possible on request for an additional fee but is subject to availability.

Check Out

Check-out is by 11am on the day of departure. Late check-out may be possible on request for an additional fee but is subject to availability. On departure please be sure that you close the door securely behind you.


The Cancellation policy for these apartments is as follows:

7 days notice is required to avoid cancellation charges.


For stays of less than 30 nights full payment will be due at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. If credit facilities are agreed then for stays of 30+ nights a minimum payment equal to the first months’ rental will be due at least 2 weeks prior to arrival, otherwise full payment for the booking will be required.

If a special or reduced rate has been agreed for a long term booking of over 60 nights then the landlord reserves the right to charge the full published rate backdated to the start of the booking if notice is given to leave early, even if notice is given within the time frames specified above.

Security Deposit

A deposit of between £100 - £300 is required depending on the size of apartment, the number of apartments booked, and the length of the booking.

On booking you will be asked to complete and sign a credit card authorisation form and to provide a copy of photographic ID, either passport, driving licence or photo ID card. 

Extension Policy

Please provide us within at least 14 days, written notice to apply for an extension to the reserved moving-out date. Prestige Apartments will endeavour to grant any requests for such extensions however this will be strictly subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. An alternative apartment may be offered if the apartment that was initially booked is unavailable for all or any part of the extension period.
